A picture gallery, like the one above, can be created with Live Content ePicture element in less than 5 minutes.

Click on one of the pictures to launch it and you will notice the Navigation Control to navigate from one image to another. SlideShow mode enables automatic switching from one image to another.

Also notice the navigational links in the caption area. Live Content also supports Keyboard Navigation using Left and Right keys.

Lastly, you're not limited to only one expanded image; try clicking on several thumbnails and you can have many images open at the same time for side by side comparison.
