Create ToolTip w/Existing Module

NOTE: MTT has built in help and documentation that can be accessed by click on the Question Mark icons next to each edit setting.

CREATING TOOLTIPS

  1. From Module's action menu, select Manage ToolTips


  2. By default, a General Category is created. Categories allows Organziation of ToolTips. User may elect to keep all ToolTips of a certain page in a particular category. Categories can be managed through "Manage Styles"

  3. Let's add a ToolTip
    1. Specify a ToolTip Name: In our case, we'll call it usersonline
    2. Click Add Tooltip and then select the newly created tooltip from list
    3. Specify a Title: Title appears above ToolTip; leave this field empty for ToolTips with no Title
    4. Check "Show Existing Module as ToolTip" checkbox
    5. Select the portal, page, and module you desire to show as tooltip
    6. Specify Height, Width, and Scrolling setting for existing module
  4. Your screen should now look like this


  5. Finally, click on Add ToolTip to add our first ToolTip
