Which templates do (and do not) allow the answer to be edited by the user?
I'm trying to make a couple of custom templates and can not figure out which of the installed templates do not have answer or comment editing, and for how long the edit icon is available.
Is there a way to remove any of the tabs from the QuestionAnswer template ( or others) short of rewriting the code?

Here is the path of templates:
\DesktopModules\LiveExchange\Themes\QuestionAnswer\Templates\Common\Answers.cshtml
\DesktopModules\LiveExchange\Themes\QuestionAnswer\Templates\Common\QuestionComments.cshtml
One can edit their Answer and Comment within 15 minutes.
I am unable to understand your concern. Please eleborate more.
I now understand there are basically just two different templates. The QuestionAnswer template and the Bug/Idea template. The Bug/Idea template separation is just the renaming of words in the resx file. I thought there we three different types of engagement. It seems the Q&A allows participants to post questions and answer them. However if you use the admin option to not allow the role to ASK a question, then the tab [my questions] is still visible, but the [ASK Question] button is hidden.
I'm looking for a way to hide the [my questions] tab in the Q&A template code.
You can hide [my questions] tab from following templete:
DesktopModules\LiveExchange\Themes\QuestionAnswer\Templates\Site\HomePage.cshtml
Your browser doesn't have Flash, Silverlight or HTML5 support.
Using the BUG/IDEAS template, is there a way to have the [add answer] button function at the bottom of the list of answers?
This is for the community to add their perspective (answer) to a bug. I assume you have this done as a comment, but the community can't upvote a comment.
It is not possible to add answers in BUG/IDEAS template at this time.
Please add this to our Community Ideas.
