Live Articles - Expire article options

Is there any way to expire an article? Like for example, in order to use it for events I would want an Event article to no longer be view-able after it is over. I don't see any options to accomplish this.

  • Create a role (suppose role is XYZ), and specify expiry date to this role based on event.
  • Create a article and give article view permission to XYZ role
  • When role will expire then nobody can see that article.

  I want the 'articles' to be view able to everyone(public), not just a specific role. For example, an announcement for an event, and once the event is over I want to article to disappear or be un-viewable.
