We have been noticing many extremely high soft and hard bounce counts. There are several thousands of them. Upon closer examination i see that the majority of them aren't even in the LiveCampaign_Email table. I interpret that to mean they weren't even part of a campaign. Please correct me if I am wrong on that. Looking at them it appears they are emails from maybe auto-responders that may be responding from a different email address than the original email, or from a server bouncing the emails such as [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]. I have attached a spreadsheet with many more examples. This is a dedicated email box with only emails being sent via Live Campaign. Why would emails not associated with a campaign be showing up in the bounce table, and is there something that can be done about it? These bounces are being logged with each campaign and are logging bounce counts in the hundreds, and It is cluttering up with the real data and causing problems for our client when trying to manage bounced emails.
I would also take a look at your dedicated email inbox and see if the messages are being purged.

Thanks Mandeeps,
Everything is in fact getting purged. All emails including ones coming from email addresses not associated with a campaign are purged. Are those supposed to get purged too? I managed to capture a couple of them before the bounce manager had a chance to delete, and some of them show the email address they are responding or bouncing on behalf of, but if they are getting deleted we cant really address the original email address they are responding on behalf of. So what happens is these original email addresses never get associated with a bounce and they continue to be emailed to with every campaign while the bounces from these secondary emails coming in grow with each campaign. There are over a thousand bounces registered each campaign and nothing gets resolved with them. Not sure sure how to handle that. We can disable the bounce manager and go through them all manually, but how do we know which ones are legit email address associated with a campaign or not?
Yes. Live Campaign will purge the entire inbox after parsing through it. The logic/rules are quite complex and they don't look at the email chain and fish out the original email the mail was sent to; not the email address of "bouncing on behalf of" or sender.
If you're running into issues, I would suggest opening a support ticket on our site so we can take a look. Thanks
