We have Live Campaign installed and thousands of email subscriptions. I want to enable some automation for when users join a list, but I want to make sure the campaign doesn't send these "welcome" emails to those already subscribed. I am afraid to enable because of that. Also, Is there a database table it writes to after the email is sent so it know not to send again?
So just to clarify my question, when enabling an automation that sends a confirmation email for when someone joins a list, does it only send to new subscibers who join the list, or will it send to everyone that is already subscribed to the list, regardless of how long ago they joined?
Live Campaign does not send welcome email when someone joins the list. It sends confirmation email for the first time of the subscription.
RIght, this "welcome" email is a custom one that was created as an automation that is activated when someone joins a list. Its our custom version of a confirmation email. But it has been disabled since it was created, and we want to enable it, but we also want to make sure its not going to generate emails for all of the past sign ups, as they would be stale at this point. . We just want it to send these emails out for new sign ups going forward. Does it only send emails for those who signed up on that day, or will it send once for everyone that has joined the list in the past? If it is going to send to everyone that has joined a list in the past, I need to find a way around that.
The email will send only those who newly sign-up on that day not everyone who already signed up in that list.
Thanks
