Hello,
I'm using LiveForms 5.9.18 and I have several forms on my portals and some of them have file uploads. Sometimes the files URL's are LinkClick URL's. Its strange because most of the submissions have plain/normal URL for the files uploaded. I don't understand the pattern because on one form with 3 file upload, in all of them the storage folder is the same, on some submissions one of the file uploads return a linkclick URL, and on other submission this happens with different file upload control.
Is there a configuration that can prevent this? I thought linkclicks were only for secured folders, and this is not the case. Also no permissions were added to this documents.
Thank you for your help
File Upload control has three tokens:
[File Upload] token gives you the clickable link of uploaded files.
[File Upload:path] token gives you absolute path link of uploaded files.
[File Upload:relative] token gives you relative path link of uploaded files.
You can use file upload token according to your requirement.
I'm using [File Upload:path] , but that is not the question. I know what are the tokens to use.
The question is why sometimes [File Upload:path] returns a LinkClick URL.
Please make sure that [File Upload:path] token is not written in <a> tag in the template.
The token is not in an "<a>" tag.
The problem is that sometimes the token returns a linkclick URL, but most of the times the return URL is a full path URL to the file.
This behavior prevents the file to be sent via email, because Live Forms does not attach files that are not in standard folders and have a clear and full path. Therefore Linkclick URLs cannot be used to send emails with attachements.
We are not able to duplicate this issue. I would recommend you to use the latest version of Live Forms(v6.1.4) and see if it work.
