Shipping costs

Is it possible to set shipping costs based on dimensions and/or weight?

If so, how can it be done?

    Note: It looks like our documentation is missing content. We're investigating this. I'll update this thread with link to "Shipping Rates" as soon as documentation is restored. Thanks

    1. From Manage, go to Store > Extensions
    2. Use the Category to filter by Shipping Extensions and find the Fixed Shipping extension to configure. Click Settings Cog Icon (If you don't see it, enable it)
    3. In Shipping Methods section, Click Add New. Create new shipping methods such as Ground, Overnight, Next Day. It could be any name you like. 
    4. In Rates section, Click Add New. Select Shipping Method, and type in shipping rate for the Country, Region, or Postal Code.

    If you leave country/region/postal blank then the rate applies to all orders. If you specify a country but leave region/postal blank then it applies to entire country. This allows you to quickly create wildcards and specify tax rates to override. 

    Shipping Rate Options

    1. Flat Rate
      • Charge a flat rate regardless of the order amount or weight such as $5 for Ground, $15 for Next Day, and $30 for overnight.
    2. By Weight
      • A shipping rate is calculated by multiplying order weight by Rate per weight unit. For example, Shipping will be $24 for an order that weighs 4 pounds and rate per weight unit is $6 per pound.
    3. By Total Percentage
      • A shipping rate is calculated by multiplying order subtotal by Rate percentage. For example, Shipping will be $10 for an order subtotal of $100 and rate percentage of 10%.

    I do see the cog icon but it does not work (localhost). And I don't see a shipping method section to add a new method. And there is no 'add method' button in the extension section either.

    What I do see in the Chrome console is:

    Tycho, this turned out to be an issue with your theme. We'll test with NVQuicktheme to make sure there is no conflict and will report back.
