Upgrade DNN 8.4.2 to DNN 9.2

I will soon upgrade DNN 8.4.2 to DNN 9.2 and I would like to know if all Mandeeps modules are compatible? I have installed latest versions of all modules except Porto 4, I am still on Porto 3.

We are in the process of upgrading Evoq Content 8.4.2 to Evoq 9.2.  Where you able to perform the upgrade and did you experience any issues?

Hello Araceli,

I do not know about Evoq because I use Community. Upgrading DNN 8.0.4 to 9.2 fails on a number of modules like Live Forms and Live HTML. It seems that a lot of API's were removed and that was also in the error message when I tested this. I will stay away from 9.2 until 9.0.1 or even 9.0.2 is released.

Thanks for the quick response.  I am about to test the upgrade.  I will stick with 9.0.1 and see how that goes.

    All modules are compatible; with the exception of "User Impersonation" feature of Live Utilities. A new version of Live Utilities is ready and will release soon for DNN 9.x compatibility.

    DNN 9.2 removed 500+ APIs and broke many modules & themes across the entire DNN ecosystem. We're working to update all our products to be DNN 9.2 compatible. 

    Following modules are now DNN 9.2 compatible:

    • Live Accordion 
    • Live HTML 
    • Live Images 
    • Live Tabs 
    • Live Tooltip 
    • Live Utilities 
    • Page Protection 
    • Live Exchange 
    • Live Forums 
    • Live Helpdesk 
    • Live Knowledgebase
    • Live Slider 
    • Live Social 
    An update for our DNN Themes will release by end of this week.

    We use Live Content, any idea on when that one will be compatible?

    Can't seem to find updated Porto theme download. I updated to DNN 9.2 and Porto 2 theme does not display any menus. What are my options?

    Upgrade to latest version of Porto which is compatible with DNN 9.2. If you're upgrading from Porto 2 then it would be major upgrade and would require a new license. Thanks
