Live Article module issue

Hi.

On our DNN portal (version 7.3.4) we are using Live Articles module - for posting articles/news. Then we are having set a scheduled reminder/job which triggers every day at the same hour and if new article/news is been published, users who are subscribed to articles/news will get email notification about that.

Few days ago we and all the subscribers have received such an email but no article/news was really published at all - last published one was half a year ago, which is correct. So why did we get that email notification?

I went to check Database DNN logs and found out that:

  1. The article was really created - it was a generic "Welcome to Live Article".

  2. I guess it was created through workflow, because there are events in table LiveArticles_Workflow about that article which indicates there were three steps taken - "Content Approval", "Content Staging" and "Direct Publishing.

  3. By ModuleID I see that it was created in module that doesn't even exist in our DNN - ModuleID is way to high.

I thank you in advance.

Regards,
Uros

It says " Support is only available to the orignal purchaser of the license. You must be logged in with the same username. "

But what if I don't have that (original purchaser) information, because an outside company did that for us a long time ago.

If this was purchased a very long time ago then it's likely that your support has expired as well. Standard Edition comes with 90 days of support and Enterprise Edition comes with 1 year of support.

You're welcome to renew your Enterprise Subscription or purchase Premium Support from: https://www.mandeeps.com/support/premium-support

It sad that I had to wait 5 days for an answer like that, but thank you anyway for your support I guess.
