For our Live Articles instance where we allow comments, those comments simply display beneath the comment (i.e. "SHOWING 3 COMMENTS"), along with the "ADD NEW COMMENT" feature.
Is there any way to display the article only, but include a "View/Add Comments" link that a user could click to view any existing comments, or add their own?

You can modify following template in Live Articles to achive it.
DesktopModules\LiveArticles\Themes\Default\Template\Article.htm
Note: Please make sure to create your own theme of Live Articles before doing any change in template. You should do customization only your own created theme.

One more related question. Can comments somehow be set to include file uploads (attachments)?
It is not possible to have attachments in comments at this time.

Do you see this being a possibility with Live Visualizer? To create a simple form that would allow specified users to create basic "articles" to be displayed on a site. But then include the ability of the public to add comments to specific articles, which could include file uploads? Could Live Visualizer tackle something like this?
Unfortunately, It is also not possible with Live Visualizer.
