Live Exchange vs Live Forums

Am I the only one that thinks these should really just be 1 product? It seems to me that they are just different templates? Why do we need seperate modules on separate pages for discussions, answers, idea? 

This seems quite similar to the smartertrack community page, there its all just one thing.

Ideas and Answers are just separate templates for Live Exchange module. Live Forums is a separate module for several reasons:

1. We believe in simplicity and there's absolutely no reason to fiddle with answers, accepted answers, voting, and other clutter in Live Forums. At end of the day, many of the administrators of these modules are not developers or tech savvy and just want a clean and simple user interface that is relevant to their day to day needs.

2. Live Forums has some features that are exclusive such as pinned discussion and locked replies.

3. Most importantly, it allows us build separate roadmaps for both products as they evolve in future and keep them simple, easy to use, and relevant.
