Live forms - Send email on submit - Populate "To Email" field with [Email] token.

We have created a form and captured an email address from the submitter and then followed the steps to create a "On form submission" action - action type is Communication > Send email - thats all very logical.

The perplexing part is adding the [Email] token to the "To Email" field just cant be saved  

Validation error =  "Please specify valid To Email or specify Email token only"

We just want to send the submitter an email - how hard?

Please make sure that you are on latest version of Live Forms(v6.2.6) and see if it work.

It is working for me in v6.2.6

Upgraded to v6.2.6 and are getting the same error.

Are you sure that you are putting the token in the "Email To" field and not the "Reply to Email?"

The "Email To" needs to go to the submitter (the token) and "Reply to Email" is the target address when the submitter replies to me.

Can you send a screenshot of your setup please?

Also - can you explain what the error  "Please specify valid To Email or specify Email token only" actually means?

I am using Email field token in To Email field.

Please also make sure that you are using Email field for email purpose not textbox field.

Okay thats where it was falling over, I had a text field and not an email field.

Working now thanks
