Live Helpdesk - How do Internal Comments work?

Could anyone explain how the internal comments function is supposed to work in Live Helpdesk? 

Once Internal comments is selected, 

  • Do I enter an email address in the Agents field? 
  • Does it automatically notify all agents? 
  • Is there a way to exchange information with selected agents? 
  • Can I share with someone who is not an agent? 
  • I'm not seening any email generated by this process.

Please help me understand how this feature works. Thank you.

Internal comments are not visible to customers. Through Internal comments, agents can communicate internally.

Do I enter an email address in the Agents field? 

You should enter names of agents in Agents field

Does it automatically notify all agents? 

Yes

Is there a way to exchange information with selected agents? 

 Yes, One can exchange information with selected agents by simply entering the names in Agents field.

Can I share with someone who is not an agent? 

No, That's not possible. 

I'm not seening any email generated by this process.

Thank you. All email notifications are working properly except for Internal Comments. 

Which Issue Action governs internal comments? Is there some other configuration that must be set? 

For the addressee, I'm using the exact name in the agent dropdown list.

Please make sure you are on latest version of Live Helpdesk. You can download latest version of our products from https://www.mandeeps.com/downloads

If issue still persist then open a support ticket through https://www.mandeeps.com/support/standard so that we can take a look.
