Fixed Expiry Date in Add/Update Roles ACTION

CASE:

My Form is for a NFP organization's membership registration. The group works on a fiscal year for it's dues. Thus, every member's registration has a fixed date the dues will expire and trigger a renewal process. We need the ADDITIONAL OPTION to set a FIXED DATE Expiry in the Add Role Code action (currently, all the options are relative to the Effective Date - which ALWAYS populates.) When updating the role on the next year(s) renew dues form, we need to ONLY update the Expiry Date with a Fixed Date, and leave the Effective Date alone (because this is their membership 'start' date).

 While I can Jump through hoops and use multiple codes to accomplish this now, it is very awkward and hard to communicate to the client how to manually adjust the dates and set up the restricted content.  The variable date (add X months/years/etc to the Effective Date = Expiry) is a great feature, but fixed dates are needed too.

NEED:

1. My preference that both the Effective and Expiry dates have the (explicit) option to be Empty/NULL. (currently, it populates TODAY() automatically, unless you add a specific date.)

2.  Add an additional option on the ADD (Update) ROLE action to allow a set/fixed date as the Expiry Date.

3. Be sure that when the role-code in question is already on the user's profile, UPDATE, that there is a way that either the Effective and/or Expiry date can be left as they are, without forcing a change to the other.  {I haven't tested this yet, it may already work this way}
