Free shipping

A common scenario is to offer free shipping above a certain amount.

This is mostly including tax and after discounts/promotions

I agree. Added to roadmap.

How would we handle this if we offer more than 1 type of shipping? Ground Vs. Next Day? How about if we have more than 1 type of service? USPS Vs. FedEx.

Do we continue to present other options with a "Free Shipping" option pre-selected? Seems most logical to me at this time but we'll explore this further.

Good one. I have not encountered such a scenario I must say. The 3 things that are mostly used regarding shipping:

  1. Regular shipping  (based on country / region): NL is 7 euro, EU outside NL: 12 euro and 30 euro for the rest of the world
  2. Free shipping in The Netherlands when an order incl VAT and after deducting promotions is above 100 euro
  3. Free shipping on product level like a gift card that will be sent by regular mail
This is all without shipping service calculation.

If you would connect UPS or FedEX, it would calculate the costs according to these specs but you would be able to offer free shipping above a certain amount for the selected country/countries
