Have ability to change default "Browse/upload" folder in Editor (LiveHtml3, LiveExchange)

I think every LiveHTML module instance (or any live modules that use the new editor) need to have the ability to choose a custom folder for "Browse Folder"  feature which is completely different from folder with Read/Write access. At every Module instance level, we should have capability to control which folder the editor will show to the user/allow upload.

The usecase is below:

let's say i give folder rights in File manager for the user like below

root/Folder A - Browse/read/write access

root/Folder B - Browse/read/write access

root/Folder C - no access

Lets say i have Page A and Page B and user got edit permissions on both and we have livehtml module on both pages.

I want the user to view/write files only to Folder A when the LiveHTML editor opens from PageA and FolderB when the editor opens from PageB.

This would help improve the folder structure organization inside website root so that non-admin users can't upload files all over the place.

Yes and somehow user should only be able to browse the files which are uploaded by themselves, but other's . At the moment user can see every files uploaded into root folder.

Thanks

I very much agree on this. Without this functionality, I do not want to offer any upload or browse capability to any user. In addition to this, it would also be very nice if some logic creates a defined random file name like [<DayNum>-<MonthNum>-<Year4>-<Hour24>.<Minute>.<Second>.<AutoNum>].
