The new form has a country flag selector on the phone field. This now requires that everyone scroll up and down the long list to find their country where previously there was just a local area field. As the majority of submissions are local to the country already, the country is nice but not required, and really slows down filling in the form.

Two suggestions for this:

1. Optionally not show the country selector at all

2. Allow setting the default country

Either of these would help greatly to make this smoother again.
