Live Slider WCAG (accessibility) compliance

When scanning our web page for compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, which is required of all government websites in the U.S. by local and federal laws, I see that the Live Slider module has an issue. For each slide there is an "empty link" error (nothing between the <a></a> tags), which violates WCAG Criteria 2.4.4 Link Purpose (In Context) (Level A).

The code looks like this:

<a href="[some URL]" class="ls-link ls-preloaded" style="[styles]"></a>

Can this be corrected? Perhaps the image alt-text could be inserted there (but not displayed)?

Please make all modules WCAG compliant so that they can be used on government websites. Until Mandeeps modules comply with this legal mandate, we'll need to replace the hundreds of module instances across our seven DNN websites, and recommend that other agencies avoid using them.

Since the Porto skin is compliant, we'll continue using and recommending it. Thanks for that!
