You don't have permission to see the files on this site

Error when uploading files: You don't have permission to see the files on this site. This is a known DNN Issue with easy fix.

You may run into the following error when uploading a file in many of our modules. 

You don't have permission to see the files on this site​

This is a known DNN Issue: https://dnntracker.atlassian.net/browse/DNN-8402

A workaround is also provided:  File Manager in Admin menu, right click root folder, open properties and save.
