Import

Allows you to import content from your existing blog module to Live Blog

INSTRUCTIONS:

Download the Live Blog Import.zip and extract/unzip the Mandeeps.DNN.Modules.LiveBlogImport.dll to your DNN Installation's /bin directory.

Login as Superuser/Host and navigate to a page that has Live Blog module instance. 

Step 1

Navigate to Manage > Administration > Import

Categories

DNN CORE BLOG

  • Login as Superuser/Host.
  • Navigate to your DNN Blog page, click on "Blog Settings".
  • You will find your Parent/Main BlogID in the URL. It should look like: /BlogID/1/.

    If you also need to import content from Child Blogs then you find their Blog IDs in similar manner. Select the Blog Name from "Child Blogs" Listbox and click on Edit. You will find the BlogID for that particular Child Blog in the URL.

  • Navigate to your Live Blog module instance page.
  • Manage Blog > Settings (Tab) > Import (Tab).
  • Select DNN Core Blog or DNN Core Blog 5.0.0+ according to your DNN Core Blog version from "Select Source" Drop Down List and provide the Blog id of your DNN Core Blog to import into Live Blog.

NUKEPRESS BLOG

Select Nukepress Blog from Select source Drop Down List and provide the Module ID of your Nukepress Blog to import into Live Blog

VENTRIAN NEWS ARTICLES

Select Ventrian News Articles from Select Source Drop Down List and specify the Module Id of your Ventrian News Articles to import into Live Blog

DNN SPEED BLOG

Select DNN Speed Blog from Select Source Drop Down List

WORDPRESS BLOG

Select WordPress Blog from Select Source Drop Down List and Upload your WordPress Blog WXR file to import your content into Live Blog.

SUN BLOG

Select SunBlogNuke from Select Source Drop Down List and specify the Blog ID of your SunBlogNuke Module to import into Live Blog

CUSTOM CSV

Select Custom CSV from Select Source Drop Down List and upload CSV file to import into Live Blog.
