For example, a user that can only update tabs but does not have the permission to add or delete would have "Update Tabs" permission only.

Similarly, you can restrict access to "Manage Options" for Content Editors by giving them Add, Update, & Remove permission only.

Edit Module: The user has FULL Control to make any changes to the module.

Add Tabs: User only has the permission to add new Tabs

Update Tabs: User only has the permission to update existing Tabs

Remove Tabs: User only has the permission to delete existing Tabs

Manage Options: User only has the permission to view and update options
