Live Blog SEO capabilities?

Does the latest version of live blog have the ability to 301 an article?

    Live Blog allows you to manage URLs for each article. If you ever decide to change the URL of a post, previous URLs will automatically do a 301 redirect to the latest URL.

    Thats good to know, however, on this occasion i want to redirect to a main site page!
