Live Slider - Shuffle Mode

Is there a trick to enabling shuffle mode for live slider? I have Loops set to '0', but the module will only show the slides in order.

    Simply enable shuffle mode by following steps:

    Manage > Slider Settings > Slideshow > Shuffle mode

    Yes, understood, and that used to work (random selection upon refreshing the page), but no longer does. Aside from Shuffle mode 'On' and Loops set to '0', are there any other setting requirements? Example: always shows the coyote first.

    The shuffle mode will only work when Start slideshow is enabled without using navigation buttons.
