For the default templates that are generated, what is the best way to resize the image and not have it squished in the box?
I'm doing a prototype to see if this solution works for us, and we are going to have nontechnical folks putting in data for a nonprofit resource database of services.
I'd like them to be able to put in logos, I can teach them how to do that, but the image gets crammed in. I need it to be a set width but I don't care about the height.
I'm not a coder, I'm just a power user, so any tips helpful on how to automatically do this in Live Visualizer.
And when I move the visualizer module in a more narrow pane, the image box isn't responsive either. Even if it looked ok in the content pane, when I move it to the right sidebar outer, everything looks terrible again.
In the master template of your visualizer, find image tag and add width attribute on it to specify the height.(Navigate to Manage > Edit your visualizer > Editors > Edit Master template)
Ex: <img src="img.jpg" width="500"> (width attribute is in bold part of img tag)
Then
replace <div class="lv-col-md-2"> with <div class="lv-col-md-12">
and
replace <div class="lv-col-md-10"> with <div class="lv-col-md-12">
Very helpful formatting to reduce the need for people who input information to be able to resize the images as well!
Thank you!
