What is live exchange and social group question

I see references to live exchange. What is it and will your community modules work as part of a social group?

Yes, I would like to see all of the community modules support Group mode as well. Very important for creating community sites that support groups. Now each group can have their own Forum, Answers, Ideas, etc. from just a single instance of the community module.

This is a fairly large scope of development of otherwise a simple problem to solve. I would suggest creating a new idea for each product in our community ideas so we can get community feedback and scope out the required features. Thanks

I think Journal and Social Groups integration is an absolute must for Live Exchange and Live Forums.

As you know dnn has social groups. There are a number of modules including easydnn modules, dnn events and Q&A that work in group mode. To explain. You would create a page under group activity called events and put a group aware module on it, ie: events. When a person creates a group and navigates to the events page, the module recognizes the groupid in the url and only shows events for that group. That way a group could have it's own events. In Evoq Engage it comes with events, discussions, wiki, news and blogs that have 2 modes group and normal. Normal being that the module could be put on any page and group where it would look for the groupid in the url. It would be awesome if all mandeep modules would behave this way. Groups could have their own blogs, discussions, answers, ideas, issues, email, articles etc.

    Does this make sense?
