Live Blog on child sites

Is it possible to place a blog on a site (mysite.com) and also add a copy of that blog module to child sites (mysite.com/child1)?

You can have multiple blogs on the site; each module is a different blog. However, we don't support having the same blog module on multiple pages (whether on same or different portal).

I sure could use that Portal Groups feature for sharing modules.  Unfortunately it was dropped in 9, and hasn't returned ...

I'm also curious about this feature. With the introduction of site group module sharing in 9.9.1, is it now possible to have a single blog shared across multiple portals? Thanks!
