Live Forms - Attach uploaded file to action email

Can anyone clarify the procedure to attach an uploaded file to an action email?

I followed the knowledgebase article. The file uploads fine but does not accompany the action email.

I think I'm not understanding how this is supposed to work. Thank you.

  • Click on Use Static Expression which is below bottom left of the attachment option in email action. See step 3 in documentation
  • Then specify token of your file upload token like [File_Upload_Name:path] and then click on Add Attachment button.

Thanks, Ashish. Those steps are in the KB article I cited and I did them. I think I'm not clear on how the token works.

Could you give me an example? Are you saying I have to create a token for the upload file and then reference that token in the Static Expression?

If so, I'm not seeing where to create a "file upload token."

  • Navigate to fileupload field > Click on the square icon which is at top right of fileupload field
  • then click on Token from top menu and specify token name

Ah, I get it. That's the piece I was missing. Thanks so much, Ashish. Really appreciate it.
