Strange behavior on Site Settings page

Hi,
I have several sites under the same DNN installation that all use the latest version of Porto (i've just updated to the latest version)

When i go to Site Settings there is a blue bar along the top that flickers from left to right, as though the page is constantly refreshing.

This only happens when I go to:

Site Settings - Site Info
Site Settings - Site Behavior - Default Pages

The other menu pages load ok.

I have spoken to my hosting company over the last few days and they are struggling to find that cause. But they did ask me to speak to you as there are some references to Porto files that seem to be broken/corrupt.

I was hoping that upgrading to the latest version of Porto and Common files would have fixed the issue but it is still there.

The problem for me is that I am unable to create a custom Login & Registration page as the screen will not accept it due to this problem.

Any ideas if Porto has anything to do with this issue?

Can you please switch over to Default DNN Theme (Apply Xcillion - Home Theme) and see if the issue persists?

Hi,

Yes, I have already done this and the problem is still there.

I did mention to PowerDNN that it may not be Porto causing the issue if the problem also happens with the default DNN theme. 

But they still wanted me to contact you to see if you had an idea of what is causing the issue.

I have just spoken to PowerDNN again and they are going to look at other reasons why it is not working correctly as I stressed to them that I do not believe Porto is the issue.

The error you are referring to is not related to Porto theme as you can also see that same thing is happening with DNN default theme.

It may possible that the problem is with your environment. I would recommend you to contact with DNN forums/support to further assist.

Hi,

The problem has been resolved. Below is the message from PowerDNN just incase anyone else has the same problem:

I believe I have resolved this. It appears to have been the result of a very obscure bug regarding culture codes. The portals displaying the bug had culture codes of "en-us" but the portals without problems had the codes "en-US". I changed all code values to "en-US" and now I am no longer getting the infinite loading error on site settings or default pages.
