When using the update Roles option there isn't a way to instruct it to remove a role. Instead, we need to manually remove the role from an exported file and then import that file. The only problem with this method is that it sends out an email for each role that was updated even though the user had the role already. I would like to suggest an option be available to suppress the User Account Update email notifications. We had to update over 1800 user accounts and the website sent an email notification for each role(s) that was updated. This caused a lot of confusion with the users.

I would also like to suggest that you update your knowledge base article for Live Utilities to let your customers know that emails will be sent when importing roles and selecting the update users option (or any other option, for that matter, that triggers the email notifications to users).
