It would be nice to have a smaller module that will show the latest post across several forum modules. This could be used on the front of the homepage to show recent activity across a site.
If those modules would work with the builtin solution called Journal you can do what you need. I prefer it uses DNN functionality for that instead of some 'Mandeep' solution.
