Subtotal: $63,733.00
It would be great if in Live Forms we can upload files to a sub folder based on submissionId. Right now we are only able to upload to a specific directory. but if we want to save assets per submission there isn't a way to do that from what i can tell. This can be problematic if you upload a file with the same name but its contents are not the same. One will get over written.
If there is something that I am missing please let me know.
We would very much appreciate this as well. Our customers have been using the upload functionality when dealing with the Paycheck Protection Program documents. This means that a very large number of files get uploaded in total. Many times their customers will upload docs with the same file names as others.
Taking this a step further - adding the ability to download all files from a submission with one click would be fantastic. Thinking the sub-folder update would allow for this to be implemented very quickly and easily.
Looks like there are several use cases for this. I propose 2 additional options for File Upload:
Sounds perfect to me
I too would go for this functionality. Or I would like an option on the file upload control to overwrite or not overwrite an existing image.
Files are not overwritten; they're uploaded with a number appended at the end such as File1.jpg, File2.jpg, and so on.
Right, I realized that after wards. The real request is to be able to place files in a sub folder of the default directory based on the submission id
Use Case
Keeping this idea open for community to vote on. Thanks
I also need this for Live Visualizer. We will be allowing our community to add resources to our site. We are expecting thousands of entries with different files for each resource. the general population will not know or care about best practices and putting files into their own folders.
This would help me immensely.
Thank you,
Richard
