To award points based on user activity:
- From Leaderboard > Manage, Click Manage Game Mechanics
- From Activites, Select Point Type to award (Example: Reputation, Experience, Custom Point Type)
- Use the Search or Category Filter to find the activity and click Edit Pencil Icon
- Specify # of Points To Award, Maximum Times, & Within Days. Click Update
Limit Award Points
Use the Maximum Times & Within Days options to limit the number of points a user can earn. For example, award 1 experience point evertime a user logs on to your site; but limit the maximum number of times to 1 within 1 day. This encourages user to visit your site daily but cannot earn more than 1 point every day.
Gaming Mechanics For a Module
You can automatically filter Gaming Mechanics Activities, Privleges, and Badges for a specific instance of the module by using the Adminstration > Integration > Gaming Mechanics link from within the module itself (For example, Live Forums > Administration > Integration)
