Customers can apply a promotion code in cart. Turn this option off if you don't want to show a promotion code box in cart.
To allow promotion codes:
- From Manage, go to Store > Settings
- From the Cart & Wishlist section, click Yes for Allow Promotion Codes
- Click Update
