Editing or Removing Posts

This is where you can edit or delete a post.

Step 1

Navigate to Manage > Posts > Use the pencil icon to edit and the trash icon to delete the post

Step 2

Specify TitleSlugDescriptionCategoriesTags and Content editor

Title
Specify the title of the blog post. Used for SEO as Page Title

Slug
Specify custom URL of the Post for human readability and SEO. By default, slug is automatically generated from post title. Only alphanumeric and dashes are allowed in slug (without spaces).

Description
Specify description for the post for SEO

Categories
Select one or multiple categories for the post. You can quickly add a category from here or via Post > Categories

Tags
Specify tags for the post that are used for Tags Cloud and SEO Keywords. You can add multiple tags separated by a comma (,)

Content Editor
Specify the content of blog post.

Step 3

Specify, Allow CommentsFeatured Post, as per your requirement.

Allow Comments
Specify whether comments are allowed for this specific Post

Featured Post
Specify if it is featured Article

Publish:
Select the Publish option for the post. Options include Now, Later and Save as draft.

                Now allows you to publish post immediately after saving.

                Later allows you to publish post on a future specified date and time.

                Save as draft allow you to save the post as draft. You can return at later time to publish.

 

Photo: Upload new file or use existing file for the post .

Note: Be sure to grant "Write To Permission" to Default Folder Path (/Portals/PortalID/LiveBlog/ModuleID) specified for applicable roles and/or users. Learn More
