This is the ideal trigger to send an email for birthdays or recurring annual holidays with greetings or special offers.
This trigger requires that your associated subscriber list has “Automation Date” for each subscriber. For example, this could be the Birthdate if you’re sending birthday greetings.
You can include the Automation Date in subscriber list using the CSV Import, Manually Adding Subscribers, and using SQL Queries by aliasing the date column as “AutomationDate”
Any subscriber in the list without an Automation Date is ignored by the automation workflow.
You can send an email minutes, days, weeks, or even months before or after the automation date. Of course, we can also send the email specifically on the automation date. Emails are recurring and sent annually.
