You have a lot of cool new products but a chat module connected to the helpdesk is missing. This could enable to bring the chats direct into helpdesk. Please, vote for this?
The basic idea is the ability to reply to a thread via email as you can with a listserv. Many of our customers are moving their online, private communities from listservs to forums. With a listserv, you can reply to a thread via email, which makes it simple to participate in a conversation.
It appears that Live Forum and Live Exchange do not allow upload of files. I'm looking to use one of these in a medical research area and Researchers need the ability to upload data files. I believe it would really round out your product if a file could be uploaded in Live Forum and Live Exchange. It can be in the Live Knowledgebase module and Live Articles. I would love to see Community support for such a process.
Would it be an idea to make some kind of repository where the community can share code for Live Forms or translations of your modules?
Issue: When you use the submit button on the Live forms module if there are any fields which fail validation (e.g. mandatory field not completed) the page will scroll down so that the field is at the top of the page. This behaviour isn't always necessary, particularly on small forms where the page scroll will cause the majority of the form to be hidden and can even cause issues with validation messages being hidden (example below). Example: For an example see the login/registration page of this website ( https://www.mandeeps.com/signin ), ...
Ability for Live Visualizer to display information from other community modules. This would allow creating areas that focus on certain parts of a modules data and present it in our own custom way using Live Visualizer with much less coding involved. Live Forums Live Exchange Live Knowedgebase Live Blogs Live Articles Live Content I believe these modules would benefit the most by priority. If there was Live Listings, Live Events and Live Media I ...
I would like to have a search bar or ability to search content within visualizer submissions for users to find things they are looking for. A Live Forms "Search" field that can search specified content structures.
A way to collect information such as keywords or categories for things such as filters the way tags are collected at the bottom of this form I am filling out now as an option in Live Forms.
Anyone else interested in a Live Messenger module so that users of the site can see who is currently online and message each other - similar to jabber/facebook messenger the old AOL messenger.
I would like to use this for commercial projects but one of our main requirements is WCAG accessibility. Personally I'm speaking about the form once created and published to the live site, although I imagine disabled users who actually develop sites would appreciate the ability to use the editing functions as well. I realize those are 2 different developmental cans of worms!
Typically on forums, a pinned topic shows first in the list of topics. I would like to see an option for Live Forums to operate like this.
Instead of having to enter into every mandeep module the SMTP settings for the "PORTAL" I am suggesting adding the ability to select "PORTAL SETTINGS" instead of "DNN HOST SETTINGS" as the settings for the Portal should be what is used for an option instead of HOST in my opinion this option is not desirable result. I have to change updated passwords on all modules instances I can find instead of using one setting on all. Since all modules usually ask only for DNN HOST I think it should be Host, Portal and Manual OR Portal Settings with ...
Create a feature which will autopopulate fields in Live Forms with information coming from the DB and which was entered by user previously in the same or a different form. This could also be called "Synchronizing" fields from different forms.
When Reply by Email is not being used, "REPLY ABOVE THIS LINE" should not be in the email. It makes users think that they can reply to the email when that option is not in use.
It would be convenient to be able to paste into the ticket editor an image previously captured with Windows Snipping Tool and not saved on the PC .
ActiveForums had topic read/unread status for users. The color of the topic title was used to indicate read/unread. Since converting to Live Forums, we have had many users tell us that they miss that feature. Can user read/unread status be added to Live Forums? Thanks
Some people still like to print blog posts and articles to read them on paper. It would be nice to offer a print feature, which would better format blog posts and articles for printing.
I have made a form with some upload file fields. For every submission all files are uploaded in the same folder (like /portals/0/LiveForms/256/Files). Please, consider to have the files divided into folders where each folder is a submission. Or rename files with submission id at the beginning. Thanks
I would like to request the ability to mute users that maybe annoying to others that are posting in community modules along with a way to report abuse with reasons of why the abuse is being reported (Spam, Posted in the wrong place, Violation or other issues) and automate moderation for threads that users find abusive.
I am requesting community support for ability to add custom reaction types that can be included for gamification points for rewards of badges and privilege's. This could be a Hooray with a party icon or whatever you customize the type of recognition a forum, exchange or form is desirable. Currently the reaction types is limited to one thumbs up or down in Forums and Exchange and I believe these do work with the current gamification mechanics release. I would also like this ability when gaming mechanics are included for Live Forms to give it also to live visualizer.
Configure rewards to put an icon or an image for a badge that can be shown on the users profile area. Possibly font awesome or theme icons can be selected easily or select a file uploaded. Explain what size image and types works best for badge images. Maybe live dashboard can have a component that displays this nicely easy. Gamification is not a tag to select here so that is a second idea.
For the side of security I would like to request MD5 Checksums for all downloads offered to have a way to verify files have not been modified between hop points between the Mandeeps server and our client downloads. Intel's information about MD5 and what it is used for: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/support/support-resources/knowledge-base/solutions/rd04222011_550.html Unsupported Microsoft Tool for Verifying MD5 and SHA1 cryptographic hashes for files: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=11533 *** THIS IS FOR ALL DOWNLOADS NOT JUST LIVE VISUALIZER ***
Please consider allowing the use of html code in the General > Category Description field.
Please consider accessing DateTime Common Field through JavaScript action, same way than
Please add an option for validating date fields in live forms.
