Live Campaign general Information is feature rich and flexible – but its core functionality of delivering emails is ONLY AS RELIABLE AS YOUR SMTP SERVER. Therefore, it’s important to use a reliable and dedicated SMTP server for this task.
DO NOT USE any public SMTP servers’ such as Google’s Gmail service. These are limited to few hundred outbound emails within a 24 hour period.
Check with your hosting provider or mail administrator for SMTP server information. It’s likely that SMTP Server information has already been configured under Host Settings. By default, Live Campaign uses the DNN Settings and no further configuration is required.
Live Campaign does support configuring multiple SMTP Servers for Load Balancing & Failover
Note: Make sure your SMTP Server is capable of sending emails outside of your local network / domain. A simple email delivery test to your own email account or another account on same domain is not sufficient. Please contact your mail administrator or hosting provider for further information.
